Spam, Bacn, and Sausage. Is bacn really that silly?

So a lot people have been addressing the serious issues brought on by Bacn in their inboxes, but have thought the name is quite silly. Well if you look at the history and origins of the name Spam, you will soon realize that Bacn continues where Spam has left off and sets the internet up for Sausage in the future. This name may be silly, but so was Spam when it was first introduced.

That’s a really good point. No one ever thinks twice about spam being called spam, and that’s about as absurd as it gets.

    Bacn works for me.

That’s one of the funniest videos I’ve ever seen.

Spam wasn’t that silly, it was a Monty Python reference to a sketch in which the word “spam” was blabbered hundreds of times. Sure, it’s a nerdy reference, but it makes sense culturally. Bacn makes no sense at all..especially misspelled. This so called “bacn” can be prevented by changing settings on websites as well. You people are a bunch of retards. Hope you enjoy your 15 minutes of internet fame…

Well, according to Wikipedia …”Spam luncheon meat is a canned precooked meat product made by the Hormel Foods Corporation.”

I would say bacn is a little better than spam. Wouldn’t you?

LOL! Reminded me of John Belushi’s “Cheeseburger, cheeseburger, cheeseburger”.
I’m sad that Spam(electronic) is called Spam, because I do enjoy Spam(food). Now that you mentioned it, I’m excited for the potential of “sausage”(Sasg?). Perhaps they’re like Bacn but not time sensitive?
This is not silly, this is culture! :D

Yup - bacn is better than spam. It’s email you want. Just not right now. lol

Adora, I already get the “sausage” emails.
Don’t you? I can enlarge a body part I don’t even have. Who knew? Oh wait. That’s spam.
Or maybe sausage and spam? :)

Thanks for posting this! I’ve coined a third segment of SPAM which i’m calling… grn eggs - or unwanted or irrelevant email from friends, family, or people you hardly know.

The problem I have with this is that bacon _is better_ than ham! In fact I work for a company that provides hosted mail filtering and there bacon is _currency!_. s/bacon/karma/ in the IRC channel! Pretty unanimous that bacon is the finest, smokiest, juiciest swine product. I should qualify by saying I am referring to the lean smoked fillet Euro style bacon rather than the streaky type. But bacon must have a good proportion of fat, of course. So really the type of email being referred to needs to have a label somewhere between ham and spam - sausage gets my vote but please respect bacon.

I just wish people would bother to
spell correctly. What the hell’s the matter with us? Are we really THAT lazy?

And please, if ONE more person types ‘LOL’ I
    am going to vomit.

We have become a nation of half-wits.
